Throughout the whole process, Gill was always available to answer any questions or help with any concerns I had, and she always replied promptly. She welcomed me into her home and was open about showing me how she runs her cattery. It was lovely to see that all the animals were well cared for, happy and content.

All of Phoenix’s paperwork was in order, and Gill also showed me the health-test results for his parents, which I really appreciated.

Phoenix went home with a lovely little starter package, including his familiar blanket, cat litter and a whole box of Catkin food, which was such a thoughtful touch.

And what can I say about Phoenix himself? He is absolutely adorable! He is so affectionate and friendly that the moment you pick him up, he starts purring like a little tractor. ❤️ He is also incredibly clean and well litter-trained. I simply showed him where his litter tray was, and he hasn’t had a single accident since arriving!

He has also settled in beautifully with my older cat, which makes me even happier.

Phoenix is not only incredibly handsome but also has the sweetest temperament. I honestly couldn’t have wished for a better kitten!

Gill is a most conscientious breeder of Maine Coons. Beautiful cats and kittens, all healthy and so well cared for. We have our kitten Casper from Maingals and are so pleased with him. Such a confident and well rounded little boy.

So much information given and no query is too small. All kittens microchipped, insured and fully vaccinated and health checked and we were given a great kitten pack to take home with our kitten. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommended Gill to purchase a kitten from. So very pleased to have met her.

I have to say that this has been a fantastic experience from reaching out to Gill with an enquiry to the continued care now that we have our beautiful blue Maine Coon kitten. Being able to visit, ask as many questions as we liked, see the environment where every kitten, Mums and Dads (and dogs) are cared for and brilliantly well trained was amazing. From start to finish (there’s never really an end as the support is for a life) the service has been amazing from being able to visit to collection being smooth and all details explained clearly as well as any and all questions being answered I cannot express how pleased I am with the MainGals service. 10/10 recommend.

Gill gave amazing service throughout with constant and clear communication. Photos and videos throughout so we could watch our boy grow. Parents and kittens are available to view and visit at all times. Picked our Mainecoon boy up a few days ago and his is so gentle natured. All kittens are microchipped, vaccinated and litter trained with health checks done before pick up. Our boy Balthazar came with plenty of toys to keep him occupied and folder full of information. The kittens are clearly handled very well from birth and are clearly raised in a loving, caring environment. I cannot recommend enough!

We brought home 2 Ragdoll boys a couple of weeks ago, Sam and Sno. (Sammamish & Snohomish). Before we purchased them, we kept in touch with Gill, at MainGals, including a couple of visits to see the environment and meet the queen Ragdoll, Belle, who gave birth to Sam and Sno, this past April 2026. Gill was so informative and friendly from the start. MainGals kennel is not just a breeding ground, it’s a lovely home with kindness, medical care, and love. On our visits, the adult queens were so well adjusted and friendly, reacting to us as family, not as strangers. This was the first good sign that this environment was about breeding healthy, well adjusted and confident kittens as well as the care and well-being of the adult queens. Gill has done an AMAZING job in socializing Sam and Sno, and it shows, now that Sam and Sno have been home with us, they have shown no signs of displacement anxiety or home sickness and are playful, confident kittens! What has impressed us most, is not only the high standard Gill employs at MainGals in breeding and care, but that she also made sure we were the right kind of home and owners, for the breed of Ragdoll kittens, not just that we wanted Ragdolls and would pay for them. We look forward to many years with Sam and Sno, and could not be happier with the the professionalism and care that Gill and MainGals takes in perpetuating the best that the Ragdoll breed have to offer, not solely as pets, but as an extension to our family.

Gill is very knowledgeable about the breed of cats she has,she passes this information onto new owners,and is helpful with any questions you may have .The cattery she has is clean and secure and you can see all the cats trust her.

Finding Maingals was the best thing that ever happened to me! Gill is the nicest person who is so knowledgable and literally holds your hand through the whole experience of getting your lil kitten! She was happy for me to visit my kitten as much as I wanted throughout the 13 weeks he was with her after being born, kept me updated with pictures and videos of him and equipped me with all the information I needed to be the best cat mom. She goes ABOVE AND BEYOND and sets you up for success with all the health testing, shots and de-worming- not to mention the goodies you go home with to make your first week as easy as possible. After welcoming both Maine Coon babies in sept/oct 2025 we finally welcomed our Ragdill kitten Arlo!

We are continually in contact with Gill with all our babies and keeping Gill upto date! Arlo is such an amazing big boy. We fell in love with him right away. Couldn’t not bring him into our family! A year on and Gill is still in close contact with us. We can’t thank Gill enough for trusting us with her babies! They are all loved and well kept! They are just like our own babies! While we picked up our first Maine coon baby.. Gills beautiful cat Ember and same dad as Klaus – Sol had a litter of babies. As we are from Scotland picking up klaus was the first time meeting him and all the babies. We fell in love with the Blue collared boy! He had to come home with us when he was ready! Which was in a few weeks! Again exceptional care and updates from Gill. Gill was always at the other end of the phone.

We travelled down to Lincoln all excited, bringing Klaus with us! We picked up Kol (Yes their named after the originals from the vampire diaries 😀) Kol was fully vaccinated, fleaed and wormed, all the same kitten pack recieved! Everything explained in the kitten papers and proof of health tests.

Amazing seller! My Kitten settled in so quickly! Absolutely incredibly socialised and loving little girl. She gives you so many little goodies as well! My time with Maingals has been nothing but pleasant and I have had helpful and effective advice about every aspect of kitten and cat care, health (including the specific conditions that are typical in the breed), breed standards, family/pedigree line and every little detail I may ask for, at any time.

My experience has been overwhelmingly positive and as someone who has bred dogs a handful of times, I am well aware of the extent of research, money, time and effort that is put into ethical and quality breeding, with the best interests of the cats and upholding the breed standard, at heart.

We got our Rangdoll from Gill in November 2024. From the start Gill was fantastic. Gill responded quickly to our enquiry, she made herself available for us to visit. When we visited we saw how well she cared for the cats were, she (very patiently) answered all our questions. After our visit Gill kept in touch, sending us updates. When we collected our kitten, she had a beautifully embroidered blanket made for us and a starter pack full of toys, food and litter. When we got our kitten home, he was so confident! Since having our cat we have kept in touch with Gill, she is always on the end of the phone if we have any questions and/or queries. We can’t thank Gill enough, our cat is one of our biggest blessings.

Gill has been so helpful and thoughtful even after getting Thema I get regular messages to see how she is doing.

My husband and I were looking for a Bengal kitten to join our family. It was important for us to make sure that our new kitten came from a loving home and had all the health checks and vaccinations. We searched for weeks and Gill was the only breeder that we found that offered the kittens for a reasonable price and had conducted all health checks, vaccinations, neutered and microchipped.

When we visited Gill we were very impressed with her set up. The cats were all healthy and were looked after very well.

We bought Marcel and he has been a joyful addition to our family. When we took him to the vet to get checked, the vet commented on his great condition. Gill was very professional and had all the necessary documents and paperwork for us. She clearly loves and cares for her cats and it was a pleasure to see.

I took my Maine coon queen to Maingals for stud services with Sol – her gorgeous, huge boy. Gill was extremely welcoming and took me and my girl through to where she would be staying and to meet Sol in person. Her set up is fantastic and I no concerns about leaving Cosmic in her care. I wasn’t able to collect her after the usual few days but Gill was happy to hold on to her until I could get back for her. She kept me updated with videos and photos which was extremely reassuring. She also had areas where Cosmic could go chill out away from if required. My girl was truly spoilt in her care and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Maingals 😻

We are from Scotland and had a bad experience with a Bengal cat breeder up here. Having never used a breeder before we didn’t know what to expect but didn’t feel comfortable so we left. That’s when I went online and found Gill and Maingals. I fell in love instantly with my cat Lana. Gill couldnt be more helpful and she held Lana for us until we could get down to pick her up. Every question we asked she answered promptly and with care. She gave us constant videos and pictures to keep us going as we couldnt get down for a week. When we finally met Lana i brought my children and Gill was so welcoming to my three boys coming into her house to meet the cats. Lana was so well socialised. The cats have an amazing space and wonderful catio to play in. Gill was so professional. All the cats were neutered/speyed microchipped and vaccinated, and they were all so well socialised. So much so that when we got home Lana was instantly out and sitting on our knee. Lana is great with the kids and so well behaved for a kitten. She’s not timid at all. We have been given the best gift of our life having Lana and it’s all down to Gill and her amazing care and dedication to her animals. She also gave us an amazing kitten pack with lots of toys that we still use now! I honestly can not reccomend Maingals enough to anyone looking for a quality animal who is well socialised and fully cared for.
